Beef King Noodles

Beef King Noodles
No. 1 Jalan Brunei Selatan
Off Jalan Pudu
55100 Kuala Lumpur
Coordinates: 3.137510, 101.711725

For years now we've been getting our beef noodle fix from Restoran Soong Kee at Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin. I was browsing thru the internet looking for alternaties and found several write-ups on this stall.

The beef noodle are priced per bowl at RM5.00 (small), RM5.50 (medium) and RM6.00 (large). For another RM6.00 you'll get a bowl of 10 beef balls (doesn't sound right, does it?).. Chrysanthemum tea is at RM1.30 per glass.

Since its our first time here, I got a bit carried away with the camera..

turn left at Caltex Pudu, by the main road (behind a large tree)

Beef King Noodles!

Not a particularly busy time..

ooh la la..

beef balls (sounds so not right!)

and reasonably priced!

Brendan can hardly wait:)

and off she goes:)

condiments in a neat little row..

time to put the camera away..

Directions: Get on Jalan Pudu and turn left at the traffic lights after Caltex. You'll pass a row of orange shophouses on your left. Still on your left, the stall is located within a restaurant with a signage that says Restoran Yong Tau Foo Best Bean Food (pretty confusing, I know). The shop is hidden behind a large tree, so be sure to slow down. Parking can be tricky during peak hours.
