I am a
Terengganu boy through and through, so spending Christmas in Kuala Terengganu
was a no-brainer (I get a lot of ‘what’s there in Kuala Terengganu for Christmas’?).
Well, apart from spending our vacation in familiar surroundings (I was
transferred to Kuala Lumpur in September 2002) we absolutely missed the food.
At the
same time, there were some personal upheavals going on (which I will not dwell
on) so being in Kuala Terengganu for Christmas soothed my soul.

waiting to check in |
We
checked into:
Primula Beach Hotel
Jalan Persinggahan
20400 Kuala Terengganu
Coordinates: 5.329931, 103.150694
which till today is still one of the better hotels in town. We then headed out to our favourite local cake stalls located
at:
Gerai Kuih Gong Kapas
Jalan Panji Alam
21100 Kuala Terengganu
Coordinates: 5.314374, 103.144268
