Cat came across this on mydeal.com.my: "59% Off Sumptuous Set Meal - A Choice of Chicken Chop / Pasta with Ice Lemon Tea & Ice Cream for RM 9.90 at Coffee Break (Kepong). Voucher Value: RM23.90".

We duly obliged and purchased three of these vouchers. Reaching the place, we discovered that it was actually situated on the first floor above a restaurant called Honeymoon.

we had to use our GPS navigator to get here

we have arrived!

Upon entering we were suitably impressed with its décor and overall layout. We had a choice of either dining indoors or on the terrace outside. With the current hazy conditions we opted to dine indoors. Bright colors everywhere, warm and cheerful ala eating places you see in Korean dramas.

I ordered the Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce set, Cat had Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce set while Brendan sampled the Spaghetti Carbonara set. Each set comes with a tall glass of iced lemon tea and a scoop of icecream (chocolate or vanilla).

Taste wise, it was pretty mediocre and no nowhere near the excellent western set we had at d'Spice @ BB Park the other day. We’re not complaining though as overall the café’s décor and ambience more than made up for it, and at RM9.90 a set it does fit the mantle of ‘the everyday food for the everyday person’.
