As mentioned earlier, we were scheduled to be in Publika
later this morning to attend our two year old niece’s first ever ‘concert’. Sophie
(or Sushi, as she calls herself) goes to a pre-school called Baby Jumper Gym organising
this concert. With a ‘United Nations’ theme the toddlers were supposed to be
dressed in ethnic costumes (Baju Kurungs, Sarees, Cheong Sams, Batik motifs
etc).
Sushi was dressed in a pretty little Cheong Sam but was initially
looking overwhelmed by the large crowd that gathered for the concert. She soon
warmed up and was her usual chirpy self by the time her turn onstage came.
