No, your eyes do not deceive you! We are back for the exquisite Laksa and Laksam (rolled up rice noodles) Mak Midah serves at her diminutive stall here.

Cat had made plans to meet up with her long lost pal over lunch, and spent the afternoon at her shop catching up. Soon as she was done, I picked her up seeing as we were in the mood for some 'kuah putih' we made a beeline to Bukit Kecil.

she remembers us from two days ago

our new firm favourite

Two days ago we tried the Laksam and thought it excellent beyond words, so today we’re back to sample the Laksa.

this ones mine minus the ulam

this one's for Brendan, minus the ulam as well

Cat had hers with the ulam in spades

our beverages

pleased as punch

erm.. then Cat and I shared a plate of Laksam

We’ll not bother talking about verdict since we’ve very openly gushed about Kak Midah in our recent post, and at RM15 for the whole thing including a round of Black Coffee for me and Iced Lemon Tea each for Brendan and Cat (plus we had an extra plate of Laksam, remember?) what more can you ask for?
