Stall No. 30, Medan Selera Batu Burok
20400 Kuala Terengganu
Coordinates: 5.319800, 103.154060
Remember the debacle at
Gerai
Alaina the first day we arrived in Kuala Terengganu? Well, unbeknownst to
us at the time a very famous Nasi Dagang stall operates in the vicinity,
located to the left of the Medan Selera Batu Buruk (Food Court).
This stall has been well received online and has been rated by many bloggers as serving among the best Nasi Dagang in Kuala Terengganu.

our first time here |
|
and definitely not our last |
|
it was a lazy Saturday morning |
Had we known at the time we would have definitely headed
here instead. However we later found out that dining here during lunch may
prove challenging since long lines will form at lunchtime.
We were in luck (seating wise) since it was a lazy Saturday morning with very
little patrons, so we proceeded to order the 1Nasi Dagang with 2Gulai
Ikan Tongkol (Tuna).
1rice steamed in coconut milk
2rich, spicy and succulent curry-like sauce
|
delightful, exquisite gulai |
|
nasi dagang done just right |
|
with the customary pickled cucumbers |
|
here we go! |
The critics were NOT wrong! This is by far some of the best
Nasi Dagang we’ve had in town, notwithstanding
Gerai
Norazila’s fare but since its located on the outskirts of Kuala Terenganu town
it doesn’t count.
And since it cost no more than RM20 for the three of us to
have an excellent breakfast Kak Pah gets our 6 thumbs up!
