We planned to visit the Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village
later this morning, so we decided to have a hearty breakfast since it would
take between forty five minutes to an hour to get there.

unassuming, but very satisfying |
Warung Pak Yusup is our perennial favourite, and more so
mine since its 1Keropok Lekor reminds me of the ones I used to have
at the canteen of my secondary (high) school. Thick, dark and chewy at its very
best. My daily menu during recess was Keropok Lekor with 2Mee Goreng
and healthy helping of 3Lada.
1for want of a better translation, I’m stuck with
either fish sausages, fish sticks, or fish fritters
2stir-fried yellow egg noodles
3a distinctive Terengganu chili sauce

nasi lemak |

|
nasi dagang |
|
nasi minyak (go look it up) |
|

|
thick , dark and chewy |
|
just the way I like it |
So in order to emulate my school going days, my breakfast looked like this:
|
keropok lekor and mee goreng |

I'm 17 again! |
Breakfast here will definitely not break the bank, you have our assurances.
