Happy NRP Phase 4 Kuala Lumpur!
We had a few errands to run this fine Saturday morning, so we headed out to Plaza Damas first. I had my haircut here, as Cat went upstairs to tend to the studio apartment that my sister left in our care.
We then took care of lunch (and dinner) by taking away several packets of our favourite Kelantanese mixed rice (Kak Wok) from Warung Soho, before making our way to Jalan Pasar. Here I stopped by an audio shop, Syarikat Instraco to see if I can't rustle myself a replacement guitar amplifier speaker.
Long before I acquired the Vox Pathfinder 10, the Boss Katana 50 Mk2 or the Orange Crush 35RT my guitar amplifier was the modest Dars 30-watt. It served me well for many years before having its speaker blown out by a rather rambunctious Millennial.
So in order to reward this diminutive, little servant for its years of loyal service I got a Celestion Ten-30, described as "a 10-inch guitar speaker that combines warm lows with a vocal mid-range and an articulate top end" to replace its blown-out speaker.
